Over the past decade, Texas lawmakers have continued to pass anti-abortion laws that threaten and make access to safe comprehensive reproductive healthcare and abortion difficult-- and in some situations impossible. In response, Whole Woman’s Health CEO, Founder and President Amy Hagstrom Miller founded Shift, a non-profit organization that builds community power to transform the political and cultural landscape around abortion and reproductive health. With anti-choice politicians creating more barriers to care than ever before, now is the time for creative, dynamic action and “real talk on abortion.”
Our programs are strategically designed to address the shame and stigma attached to abortion, provide important resources, and support those who need abortion care through our Real Talk Hotline, public awareness campaigns, community collaboration, education, policy, and advocacy work. Shift's dedication to this work is driven by years of experience in the world of high-quality service delivery and holistic abortion care.
